Stowarzyszenie Pomocy i Interwencji Społecznej (SPiIS)

Stowarzyszenie Pomocy i Interwencji Społecznej (SPiIS) is a non-governmental organization working to support individuals experiencing life crises, violence, homelessness, and social exclusion. The Association offers comprehensive psychological, legal, and social assistance, conducts crisis interventions, educational activities, and collaborates with public institutions and social organizations.

SPiIS operates, among others, the “Etezja” shelter for pregnant women and mothers with children who have experienced violence, and implements programs in street outreach support, harm reduction, transitional housing, and psychological and professional assistance. SPiIS also engages in educational activities – developing training programs, publications, and promoting the Warsaw model of working with homeless people, striving to disseminate it nationwide.

SPiIS actively participates in shaping public policy – as a member of the National Federation for Solving the Problem of Homelessness, it is involved in efforts to professionalize streetworking and formally include it in the occupational classification system.
