    Fundacja Dobrych Inicjatyw

FDI supports young people growing up in institutional foster care. It helps them confront the obstacles they face on the path to adulthood, including a lack of emotional, financial and educational support, and prepares them for independent living.

FDI works with care institutions to deliver original educational and development programmes. These include workshops on financial literacy and career skills, community engagement projects, educational trips, psychological support, therapeutic sports camps, needs assessments and a scholarship scheme. The aim is to build skills essential for adult life and to strengthen young people’s sense of agency.

FDI also engages in advocacy on behalf of children and young people in institutional care, seeking to improve their legal and social standing.
