Valores supports social organizations that focus on critical social issues, deploy effective solutions, have the ambition to scale, and meaningfully improve the lives of the people they touch.
Social organizations eligible to apply to Valores need to have participated in at least one edition of the PSIK Social Business Accelerator (SBA) program.
To join SBA, a social organization must meet the following criteria:
- Addresses a Significant Social Issue: The organization should tackle an important social issue, with the scale of the problem being material.
- Scalable Solutions: It should offer solutions capable of addressing the social problem on a large scale.
- Proven Track Record: The organization must have a demonstrated history of success in its social area.
- Verified or Promising Solutions: The proposed solution should have been verified at a small scale, or the organization can demonstrate its potential to be effective and scalable.
- Dedicated Leadership: The organization has a committed leadership team.
SBA participants may qualify for support from Valores if they meet the following additional criteria:
- Productive Mentorship: The collaboration with their SBA mentor was effective and delivered tangible results.
- Strategic Plan: The organization has a well-thought-out development plan (a three-year business plan) to scale its development, sustainability, and engagement to a higher level.
- Commitment to Impact Measurement: The organization is dedicated to building capabilities for measuring and managing its impact.
- Unique Funding Requirement: The funds requested from Valores are not accessible through other sources.
